Made in France. About Elysee: The dinnerware service was created by the Manufacture de Sevres in 1832 for Louis-Philippe for use in the Tuileries Palace. This pattern was created using an Empire shape in order to replicate this historical period. Certain pieces follow the purist, most classical forms: the gravy boat evokes an antique oil lamp, and the creamer is inspired by a French ceramic pot from the 18th Century. Elysee shows a frieze of palm leaves in a burnished gold, on an agate blue background. Its outspread leaves give off a ray-like solar effect, typical of spectacular motifs.
